Comet METEOR

Comet Models operated as a significant Model kit supplier from 1929 up into the 1980’s.  Many of us cut our modeling teeth on a comet kit. Paul Bradley has helped us rekindle those years with a “reproduction” of the Comet METEOR.  Model has a 21 3/8” span, powered by 2 loops of 1/8” rubber.  BMJR has teamed with Paul to produce a laser cut kit of this classic model, intended to be a sport model rather than one used for duration competition.  Structure is more robust to make it easier to handle. Kit is complete; builder only needs to supply the glue. The prototype kit came in at .41 grams ready to fly, and has proven very capable of 30-40 second flights with just 500 hand winds.
