Fortastrop

The 1/2A Fortastrop was published in the April 1957 issue of Flying Models  and became a very popular Midwest kit. Model was designed to be an  easy to build and easy to fly free flight. For 2014 the NFFS has selected the Fortastrop for one-design competition. www.freeflight.org/competition/OneDesign.htm   The BMJR 1/2A Fortastrop follows the original plan with chages only to accommodate laser cutting technology. The finished model has a 36” wingspan with 216 sq. in. area.
