| Dakota |
B-113 |
 |
| The “Dakota” was designed in September 1949 and was Joe Wagner’s first design kitted. The Dakota was designed as a “foolproof” 1/2A free flight, and incorporated several features that provided automatic stability in flight. The BMJR kit includes all laser cut parts, except for the wing leading edges and the pre-bent landing gear wire. Everything needed to build this model is in the box except glue, engine and a fuel proof coating.
BMJR is delighted to have had the opportunity to work with Joe on his re-release of a true all-time-classic. |
| Sniffer |
B-117 |
 |
| The Sniffer is and early Post War model designed for the new OK Cub or Anderson Spitfire small glow engines. It is reported that the name came from it’s thermal sniffing qualities which it still exhibits today. The BMJR Sniffer is true to the original form but has been engineered to take advantage of today's laser technology. With 139 square inches of wing area , the design is the perfect size for the PeeWee .020 engine and legal for early nostalgia competition, and the special PeeWee 30 event. However,It is best; flown just-for-fun. |
| Twin Lizzie |
B-118 |
 |
| The Twin Lizzie was designed by Keith Laumer and published in the April 1959 issue of Model Airplane News as a 1/2A sport free flight model with an Atwood, Spitfire, or OK Cub. Today the Lizzie turns out to be the perfect size for PeeWee .020 power. Although this is a sport ship, with a 30” wingspan and PeeWee power it can be flown in the PeeWee 30 event. The Twin Lizzie is one of those models that we have wanted to build, just because, since we were kids but never got around to it. Today we have the opportunity to build and fly this classic model just for the memories and fun of it. |
| Little Red Twin |
B-122 |
 |
| The Little Red Twin was designed by Keith Laumer and published in Model Airplane News in October, 1962. It was reported to be, “ a small indestructible flyer to make use of on those windy afternoons when wings are folding like umbrellas and down wind landings are wiping out calm weather jobs.” After receiving the plan and article in the mail from a friend, we built the ‘LRT’, just because. And it turned out to be a fun model to build and with a PeeWee just plane fun to watch ROG. With small glow engines becoming scarce, the BMJR kit has been updated to accommodate electric power. Wingspan tip-to-tip is 24 inches and a area of 115 in. sq. |
| Ranger-28 |
B-510 |
 |
| Carl Goldberg did a great job designing this rubber powered sport free flight model This model is a hybrid with features of the sheet balsa models of the time, with tissue covered built up structure. The fuselage is assembled from laser cut parts much like a jigsaw puzzle, that then gets tissue covered. This is a great model to introduce modelers to the world of a tissue covered built up structure. And it flies Great. 28" spam with 102 sq. in area
